After celebrating the legendary brands 90th anniversary, Gucci unveiled the Gucci Museo at the famed Piazza della Signoria in Florence, Italy.
The museum is steps away from Michelangelo’s David and speaks of the history and culture of the brand.
“The intent is to tell our story and make it visible for everyone, doing something with and for this city” said Gucci president, Patrizio di Marco.
Starlets and royalty came out for the opening (which included a dinner in the Salone dei Cinquecento), and actresses like Camilla Belle and Abbie Cornish shined in elegant, lady-like looks for the evening.
And while Li Bingbing, Poppy Delevigne and Charlotte Casiraghi of Monaco chose shorter hemlines for the extravagant evening, Sophia Esketh opted for a black gorgeous gown with an eccentric jewelled neckline.
