H&M have teamed up with shoe label Swedish Hasbeens for a new range of clogs.

The Swedish retailer is renowned for collaborating with some of the biggest names in fashion, with its collection of Lanvin dresses flying off shelves just before Christmas last year.

Today, the store revealed its newest range will hit shops on April 20. 150 stores around the world will be stocked with three types of the wooden-soled shoes, which are expected to be a huge hit.

“I love the genuine feeling you get from Hasbeens, from the wood and the leather, and also how they take something traditional and Swedish and make it contemporary and modern. These Hasbeens for H&M fit perfectly with the ’70s bohemian look that’s so important this coming season,” said H&M’s head of design Ann-Sofie Johansson.

Swedish Hasbeens are equally as thrilled about the collaboration. The three styles which have been specially created include a gladiator-type wedge with ankle straps, a red or cream high-heeled sandal on a pale wooden base and a peep-toe shoe.

“We have a strong belief in making better shoes for a better world. We want to make fashion more fun, creative and friendly to both the environment and people,” founder and designer of the firm Emy Blixt said. “We have loved designing for H&M! It’s a fantastic opportunity to spread the idea of Hasbeens and make these shoes available to more people around the world.”

Swedish Hasbeens have already become a firm favourite with the Hollywood elite, with Sarah Jessica Parker and Maggie Gyllenhaal both seen in them.
