Kate Middleton’s Royal Tour Style

Despite what has been a few turbulent days for the young royals, what with those topless pics of Kate being published in French magazine Closer, the Royal Tour must go on, and Kate has spent the weekend looking vibrant, relaxed and happy. Arriving at Honiara, the capital of The Soloman Islands, Kate wore a bright printed cotton dress by Jonathan Saunders, paired with her signature wear-with-anything L.K Bennett pumps to cope with the tropical heat.

Kate and William then went on to visit the Prime Minister, to which Kate returned to high street form, wearing a canary yellow dress by Jaegar. Waisted, pleated and 100% cotton, there seems to be a trend appearing within the The Duchess’ tropical wardrobe. Comfortable, suitably smart, and cool in the South Pacifics intensive heat, Kate seems to have her Royal Tour wardrobe down to a tee.

From day to night, Kate changed into the most revealing of all of her Royal Tour outfits to date, a strapless midi-length dress in a bright batik print from a local boutique and nude wooden wedges, which she wore to the evening’s reception. And getting in on the Pacific style himself, William sported an equally-bright blue patterned sleeveless shirt for the night’s entertainment.

Today, the 7th of their Asia and South Pacific Royal Tour, the Duke and Duchess made their way to Marau where Kate, swapped her bright prints and light, loose dresses for a more structured and solemn navy dress. The embroidered, Mulberry skater style dress with cute peter pan collar was nipped in with a matching patent belt and paired with another signature pair of LK Bennett closed-in wedges.
