Kate Moss for Topshop

Kate Moss for Topshop

She’s the epitome of glamour and looking effortlessly cool, and now Kate Moss is bringing her style magic to the high street once again. The iconic model is back for a second collaboration with Topshop, designing her own clothing collection for the store – and we are totally lusting over every piece!

Celebrities and high street collaborations are becoming a bit de trop, as the French would say, but this one stands apart from the rest. Kate’s line for Topshop isn’t a one-off collaboration; it’s a long-standing partnership is developing with every collection. While Victoria Beckham may have her own label, Kate Moss is making her high-end style accessible to us all, so thank you Kate!

And unlike other models-turned-designers, Kate’s previous work has proven that she’s not taking a back seat in the production process. Her fingerprints are on everything in the collection, and rightly so — Moss is a veteran designer at this point, having launched into her dual role back in 2007 when she debuted her first Topshop collection. Since then, she’s released four fragrances in collaboration with Coty and even created a range of handbags for Longchamp, so we definitely trust her judgement.

Looking at the entire Kate Moss for Topshop collection, it’s clear that the model has pushed aside the need to follow seasonal trends in favor of creating a line that represents her authentic, signature personal style. We’re talking fringe leather jackets (such a Kate Moss classic), flowy tanks bedazzled with glittering stars, delicate lace tops, floor-length silk dresses, and even jumpsuits and rompers. Eyes will certainly be drawn to the Gatsby-esque flapper dresses, and there are also a number of elegant, solid pieces perfect for mixing and matching.

You can get your hands on the Kate Moss for Topshop collection beginning April 30. It will be available from Topshop in stores and online, as well as through retailers including the stateside based Nordstrom.com and, for the first time, Net-a-Porter.com. Here’s to looking effortlessly cool this summer!
