Flower Power

On Tuesday 25th May, Liberty is calling everyone with a floral name to come along to the store for the chance to be named Liberty Flower Girl!

If you’re a Daisy, a Poppy, a Lily or an Iris then head down to the store for your chance for top model Jasmine Guinness to crown you Flower Girl (with a floral coronet from florists Wild At Heart no less) as well as receiving a limited edition floral bicycle from the exclusive Liberty of London for Target collection, a bouquet of flowers and a Liberty sash!

Plus, four runners up will receive hand tied posies and Liberty gift coins worth £50 each. But no flower girl will leave empty handed – all those who turn up will receive a flower, courtesy of Canon, a Liberty friendship bracelet and a mini-Snog (the frozen yoghurt version of course…).

Anyone who attends will also have the chance to have a photograph taken in the photobooth inside a retro floral Mini, complete with all the accessories necessary for the authentic hippy chic image!

To win all you need do is turn up with proof of identity and preferably in your best flowery outfit! The Pageant will be judges by Wild at Heart florist Nikki Tibbles, style journalist Jenny Dyson and Liberty’s head of Creative, Maxine Groucutt.

And age is no barrier – says Groucutt, “We want to see 80-year-old Violet as much as 5-year-old Poppy – the winner will have a bohemian outlook, lots of personality and a bit of eccentricity in order to be our Liberty Flower Girl”.

The Petal Pageant will take place at the Carnaby Street enfrom 5.30pm – 6.30pm on Tuesday 25th May.
