Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2013 Campaign

It may be colder than ever outside, but in the land of fashion it is already heating up for Spring 2013 with heart-warming colour palettes and delicious peeks of sun-kissed skin. And leading the pack is Louis Vuitton’s spring campaign, featuring sunshine bright yellow and sweet checkerboard duos.

The new campaign was shot by fashion photographer Steven Meisel, using the same checkerboard backdrop that was created by artist Daniel Buren for the collection’s premiere at Paris Fashion Week back in October. Who could forget the twin-tastic spectacular of graphic shapes and nearly identical models walking, or rather riding, the escalator runway two-by-two? The fantastically innovative show took catwalk presentation to a whole new level, quite literally.

The op-art inspired and ’60s styled Louis Vuitton collection, designed by collab-loving  Marc Jacobs, will land in stores starting March 2013. Daniel Buren will again show off his artistic talent, designing the window displays for select Vuitton boutiques. Keep an eye out for the sunny and chic campaigns debut images, set to start advertising in all our favorite magazines come February.
