Black Swan actress, Mila Kunis, chatted with Glamour Magazine for their recent issue all about her hard work going a long way in bringing her down to 95 pounds for her ballerina role in the award winning film. Despite confessing to being a total foodie, she said if she can do it, everyone can drop the weight if they really tried!

“I don’t think I ever fully realised what a human body is capable of doing,” Ms. Kunis is quoted as saying. “… I’m a huge foodie, I love food. But when people say, ‘I can’t lose weight,’ no, no, no, you can. Your body can do everything and anything, you just have to want to do it.”

I believed I could do anything. I never for one moment thought that I couldn’t do it. I believe in hard work. In self-drive and self-worth.”

She continues to discuss self-worth and how it helps her stay smiling in a rough and judgmental industry. ‘People are rejected every single day purely based on opinion, about who’s a good actress, who’s a bad actress, who’s pretty, who’s ugly, who’s fat, who’s skinny… You have to have a positive outlook. Otherwise you’re in a very dark place.’

But later she contradicts the self-worth attitude by explaining that it baffles her that people find her attractive.

It’s insane. Listen, I couldn’t be happier to get any of this, because I think it’s hysterical and it makes all my friends laugh. If somebody finds me attractive, God bless them, I think it’s fantastic.’

She also adds that the stick thin body type models currently possess and girls dream of is disgusting to her! “I had no shape, no boobs, no ass. … All you saw was bone. I was like, This looks gross.”

While it might be inspirational to think that we can all lose weight, we can’t all afford the crazy health regimes actors and actresses put themselves through, nor the nutrition guides that often help them change their lifestyle.

So, what do you think? Are Mila’s words applicable to the rest of us?
