Versace Atelier

Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week kicked off last night with the Atelier Versace show at the historic Ritz-Carlton in Paris.

After an eight-year break from couture, Versace showcased an array of stunning luminescent gowns. Remaining true to the signature Versace style, there was no shortage of chiffon, crystal embellishments or form-fitting masterpieces.

Front row faces at the Atelier Versace couture show included some of the most fashion forward celebrities including Jessica Alba, Milla Jovovich, Lea Michele, Elizabeth Banks, M.I.A and Christina Hendricks. Although all of the attendees wore Versace for the special occasion, some looked more glamorous than others.

Here are our best and worst dressed from the Atelier Versace couture show.

Jessica Alba

Jessica Alba looked incredibly sleek and sexy in a strapless black leather cocktail dress, embellished with Swarvoski crystals from the AW 12 Collection.

Lea Michelle

Glee‘s Lea Michele glowed in a bright orange cocktail dress, grey suede pumps and matching Versace clutch.

Elizabeth Banks

Elizabeth Banks looked pretty in a simple grey A-line cocktail dress. We loved how she accessorized her look with silver Versace pumps with chrome details to finish off the look.

While these A-listers shined in the front row, others unfortunately missed the Versace mark.

Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks looked a tad uncomfortable,  squeezed into her custom made Atelier Versace laser cut gold leather dress. The black blazer she paired with the dress sadly did nothing to accentuate those fabulous curves.

M.I.A

M.I.A wore a Vintage Gianni Versace printed outfit with gold lycra leggings, Versace-motif top and leather jacket. Although we love the bold and brazen statement, the look was more Haute Hoxton than Haute Couture.

Milla Jovovich

Milla Jovovich wore a black cut-out cocktail dress with matching Versace clutch. Although perfectly hugging her honed body, the dress was a little too reminiscent of Liz Hurley’s safety pin creation, and no where near classy enough for the ex-super.
