Designer bio…
Sophie Albou was born in 1967 and is the founder of Paul & Joe. She is a Paris-born designer who had her creative side nurtured by her mum Nicole Haggiag, who was a clothing company executive and designer herself.
In 1990 Albou started Paul & Joe, which is named after her two sons. It started as a menswear line and evolved into having a womenswear line in 1995. Her small Paris Boutiques show her vintage and appealing style and Barney’s New York and Fred Segal started carrying her collections.
