Pleated skirts are a favourite wardrobe choice on and off the runway

This week’s celebrity trend is one that we quite like because it’s pretty and an easily achieved look.

Great thing about pleated skirts? They come in a lot of different lengths, cuts, and colours. And on the days that you don’t feel like putting together an outfit and ironing, they’re a great option to pick out in your wardrobe.

If you’re unsure how to wear pleated skirts, just try with a tucked in shirt on the top and simple jacket. The look is very simple and doesn’t need a lot of fuss so you can add a lot of funky accessories if it suits you.

We found these favourites at Miss Selfridge, all under £50!

The first one is  Lurex Pleated Pleated Maxi Skirt in black metallic thread, which makes it perfect for a night out on the town for £39.

Then we found this Mauve Pleat Split Maxi skirt in a daring magenta tone to brighten up your dull winter wardrobe for £49.

And if you’re looking for a shorter version, try this Pleated Mini Skirt in that has a ultra stretchy waistband for the perfect fit at £22.

Lastly our long option was this Blue Pleated Midi Skirt, which provides a bit more warmth and coverage since it’s not see through for a lovely £15!
