Rita Ora burst onto the music scene and had everyone singing along with her hits “How We Do (Party)” and “R.I.P.” and now, inevitably, she is taking the fashion world by storm having landed her first major fashion magazine cover on U.S. Elle’s May issue. There are two covers available, one where Rita sports a pink ruffled gown and headpiece and the second – a black-and-white cover featuring a Phillip Treacy headpiece and mouse-inspired makeup. Somehow the singing sensation manages to make oversized mouse ears look cool, which is quite a feat in itself.
Usually seen sporting eclectic, hip-hop inspired street wear her Elle cover marks a big break into high fashion.
She turned heads earlier in the year when she wore a stunning red Marchesa gown to the MTV European Music Awards and has frequently been seen with her ‘wife’, uber brit model Cara Delevingne. Perhaps some of Cara’s fashion prowess is rubbing off!
