Olympia Le Tan's Clutch Bags
French designer Olympia Le Tan’s incredible clutch bags have to be seen to be believed. The limited edition range of 21 bags depict vintage first editions of classic books. Using a mix of embroidery, silk and felt applique John Steinbeck’s The Pearl, Arthur Miller’s The Misfits and Carson McCuller’s The Heart is A Lonely Hunter amongst other contemporary literature covers, the bags are inlaid with Liberty print fabrics.
Le Tan’s collection is entitled ‘You Can’t Judge A Book By It’s Cover’. If you want to get your hands on one of these must have clutches, you’ll need to speed dial Colette – there are only 16 of each design.
