Karl Lagerfeld and Keira Knightley make a dream duo. When it was first announced that Karl Lagerfeld was encompassing the history of Chanel (I mean after all, he is the mastermind of modern Chanel) for a film, we became anxious with anticipation. Nothing could be more ‘Chanelegant’ than a film imagined, written and directed by Lagerfeld about the iconic brand he represents today.

Keira Knightley lights up the screen as the charming French designer and crisply captures her essence as we’re taken back to the age of Chanel in a chic black and white film.

Keira Knightley as Coco Chanel in Lagerfeld’s “Once Upon a Time.”

We willingly step into the French seaside of Deauville in 1913, listening to delicate French chatter and singsong birds as we watch Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel open her first boutique. We watch as Chanel unfolds and redefines the essence of womenswear and what it truly means to be a woman.

First revealed during Chanel’s Resort 2014 show in Singapore last month, this is the first time you’ll be able to watch the entire film Once Upon A Time online.
