Jil Sander for UNIQLO

Did you miss out on Jil Sander for Uniqlo the first time round? Well, now you’ve got another chance to nab something from the +J collection as Jil Sander teams up with Uniqlo for a Spring/Summer collection.

The range will debut in Japan and Asia on December 23rd before making its way into other parts of the world. We can expect the collection to hit UK shores on the 7th of January, our friends in the States can expect the collection to hit the racks on the 14th of January.

What can we expect for spring/summer? The spring collection will include knitwear, jackets, shirts and other items in fabrics such as waterproof ultrafine cottons, high-tech satins and “sumptuous wools.” The palette will feature white, ivory, pastel hues and “chalked out acids,” Uniqlo said.

The season introduces fresh perspectives on volume, teamed with perfect harmony in fiber, color, optics and touch. Experimentation is essential, but subtle, leading to new interplays of material and motion,” continued a spokesperson for Uniqlo.

Roll on spring/summer 2010…
