Rupert Sanderson's Roller Disco

Although it will be Fashion’s Night Out 2011, you’ll be able to travel back in time for a bit when you check out Rupert Sanderson’s 1970’s Roller Disco in Mayfair. The only thing you’ll need to bring is your ready-to-boogie attitude since the skates and groovy tunes will be provided for you. You’ll also be able to buy an exclusive Rupert Sanderson platform boot, with 10% of the proceeds sent to Kid’s Company, an organisation that provides support for inner-city children in need.

Can’t get enough of this vintage vibe? Go shop at Gap, which will be traveling back to the 60’s in honor of their 1969 denim collection. A sixties-style photoshoot with British photographer Tom Giddings will be taking place as you slip into the latest pair of Gap’s 1969 jeans. If denim’s your thing, feel free to wear it on your nails as well! For Fashion’s Night Out, Chanel will be debuting their new denim-inspired nail polish collection, seen here.

This night is all about having fun so Liberty, Mulberry, and Harvey Nichols are going to be making sure you have lots of it on Thursday. At Liberty, get ready to hula dance because they’re throwing a Hawaii-themed party in celebration of Lulu Kennedy’s Lulu + Co. collection. There’ll be a Mahiki coconut rum shack, makeovers, and style advice being dished out by designers like Jonathan Saunders, Richard Nicoll, and Bella Freud.

Mulberry will be having face and nail painting, photo booths, lots of food, and even a fortune teller, and over at Harvey Nichols there’ll be fairground stalls to play on, free cocktails, hair and makeup stations, and yummy goodies. And speaking of scrumptious snacks, Agnes B will be offering Parisian delicacies to re-fuel you after doing all that shopping cardio. Another sweet treat can be found at Prada where they’ll be selling their new fragrance called “Candy.” Even the bottle looks good enough to eat! Click here to see.
