What the Stars Wore To Glastonbury

We don’t have to tell you that the main celebrity event of the weekend – and for some a lifetime – was Glastonbury. Sadly, after a weekend of sunshine and The Rolling Stones, the 5 day festival of performing arts came to a bitter end last night, with festival-goers packing up and heading home today.

Celebrities including models, movie stars and music’s most talented, including Cara Delevingne, Sienna Miller, Rita Ora, Kate Moss, Bip Ling, Clara Paget, Poppy Delevingne, Solange Knowles, Florence Welch, Millie Mackintosh and – of course – Alexa Chung travelled from far and wide for the infamous festival, and luckily for us these fashionable celebrities know how to travel (and camp) in style.

Whilst nobody left their sunnies at home (we’re ever so slightly obsessed with Kate Moss’ cats’ eyes peepers) it seems a few of the famous spectators chose to watch the gigs through Le Specs-covered eyes. Popular with the Delevingne (Poppy and Cara) sisters, who were seen wearing the same exact pair, these sunglasses are sure to be the next big (rimmed) thing.

A few other brands that were popular amongst the glamorous crew were Kate Spade, Hudson, and Matchless. As the sunset over the Stone Circle, Cara and Kate pulled on the rocker-chic Matchless leather jackets, whilst Poppy and Bip Ling sported festival-worthy Kate Spade accessories on multiple occasions.

Although, la Moss looked as rock’n'roll as ever in classic leather she may have gone a little over-the-top (or should I say under-the-grass?) in her 3-inch-heeled boots, which she seemed to wear continually whilst roaming the VIP areas. Meanwhile, on the other side of the park, Millie Mackintosh (supportive girlfriend of Prof. Green) and Alexa Chung opted for a more classic festival shoe – iconic Hunter wellies. Millie paired hers with black leather shorts, a black crop-top, khaki shirt and an always-appropriate floral headband whilst Alexa took an entirely different route, pairing her wellies with a pair of black super-skinny jeans and a purple trilby from her unmatchable and extensive hat collection.

Wife of Marcus Mumford and VIP attendee, Carey Mulligan, strolled through Glastonbury in loafers, ¬†a black blazer and some very-on-trend ripped-knee black denims. Clearly more at home in the searing Coachella heat, the actress, made more of a fashion understatement than anything to write home about, we’d have preferred to see her ¬†wearing an “I’m with the band T-shirt” – far more appropriate, and it may have made her seem a little less glum.

Looking far brighter, and flashing a little VPL was Rita Ora, wearing a sunny piece from Stella McCartney, paired with flashy silver shades, a floppy white sun hat and mud-bearing boots.

And, as ever, Sienna Miller stuck to the style she works best, rocking a floaty – although slightly shapeless printed dress with studded biker boots.
