Train Like A Pro With Serena Williams and Nike

If you’re already serious about fitness or simply looking to get lean, lithe and toned it’s highly likely that you already own the personal trainer in your pocket that is the Nike Training Club app (and if you don’t you should – we promise you won’t regret it!).

A game-changer when it comes to at-home workouts and personal exercise sessions, NTC is a free full-body training app that offers 15, 30 or 45 minute sessions and a combination of more than 114 workouts and 120 drills building upon the basics of strength, cardio and core training.

And, whilst we didn’t think the app could get any better, Nike have now upped their game by teaming up with the pros to create targeted new workouts, starting with tennis star, Serena Williams.

Available to download, for free from today, Serena showcases a 15 minute Core Power workout featuring some of her favourite core-strengthening moves, including resistance band hip extensions, stability ball work and there’s even a weighted hula hoop exercise in there (who said fitness couldn’t be fun!).

Rocking some of Nike’s new sportswear pieces, including some amazing grey and white tie-dye capri pants and aztec-print top, Serena admits in the behind-the-scenes making of the app that she ‘likes to workout to 80s tracks’ and explains how working out with NTC keeps her ‘strong, powerful and beautiful’.

Throughout the Spring new monthly NTC workouts will be launched with gymnast Gabby Douglas, surfer Lakey Peterson and track and field star Carmelita Jeter, all at 15 minutes and targeting specific body parts.
