Absolut-ly Unique

Absolut Vodka have launched their most amazing, challenging and unique limited editions to date.  Of the nearly 4 million, uniquely numbered, bottles produced no two are the same, meaning you will essentially have a piece of one-of-a-kind art with each Vodka bottle you purchase!

Absolut Unique Vodka Bottles

“ABSOLUT UNIQUE feels a bit ’mad scientist,’ a bit street art,” said Jonas Tåhlin, Vice President Global Marketing at The Absolut Company.“When the bottles first appeared on the conveyer belt, we cheered. By that point the production line looked more like an artist’s studio than a bottle factory. These are really striking bottles. Everyone will find a personal favourite.”

And producing bottle-art on such a mass scale proved a challenge as 38 different colours, 51 pattern types and a wholly re-engineered production process was required.

“It required a complex interaction of human and mechanical elements, and a carefully orchestrated randomness, to achieve the desired end result. Splash guns and colour-generating machines were set up and complex coating, pattern and placement algorithms were programmed in to ensure that no two bottles would be alike.”

The vibrant new ABSOLUTUNIQUE bottles go on sale in Harvey Nichols and Selfridges from 1st October 2012 at £21.50

  1. Sorry, friend that is New Order’s oringial studio recording (12 ).Joy Division never made a studio recording of Ceremony all we have is an incomplete live recording (Birmingham, 1980) and a rough, early demo (available on the Heart and Soul box set). The version you have here was only finally released on CD when Movement was re-issued recently (as one of the extra tracks, along with the second New Order version, recorded with Gillian Gilbert on guitar) the first (yours) is far superior.
