Have you ever imagined what it would be like if Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory was a reality? Well, now you can stop dreaming – sort of. Just short of the shortening, vanilla extra and all that artificial sugar – because, this summer, architectural foodsmiths Bompas & Parr have set about to bring you a truly incrEdible, Tutti Frutti voyage through Kew Gardens.

The experiential food festival, takes visitors on a specially-made boat journey across jelly rivers to a wonderful world of edible plants and into the depths of the mysteriously hidden Pineapple Island. Sounds oddly familiar, doesn’t it? Vaguely resembling all the secret nooks and candy-covered crannies of Wonka World.
