First we went mad for burgers, now it seems it’s the era of the hotdog and leading the revolution is husband-and-wife-team James Knappett and Sandia Chang who are have just this month opened Bubbledogs in Soho’s Charlotte Street, serving up fizzy booze and kick ass hot dogs.

Bubbledogs offers a menu of ten hot dogs, including BLT Dog, wrapped in bacon and served with truffle mayonnaise and caramelized lettuce; the Jose Dog which comes with guacamole, sour cream, salsa and jalapenos, and a regularly changing guest chef’s special.

There’s also a concise list of Grower Champagne and sparkling wines available by the glass as well as the bottle plus a changing list of five cocktails, priced from £9, such as the strangely-tasty sounding Old-Fashioned, made with bacon-infused bourbon and maple syrup.
