#coffeemonday @ Foxcroft & Ginger

Tucked away on Berwick street, at the market end, is Foxcroft and Ginger – a punk rock inspired coffee shop. The upstairs is a mecca to coffee and wonderful food – which is all made on site by the South African owner Quentin. He is a fantastic baker and also makes a mean sweetcorn roasted vegetable and chorizo fritter. Downstairs houses distressed furniture, old gym horses for tables, a huge Vivienne Westwood, signed Union Jack and a very cool graffitied mural.
The coffee, which is a bespoke house blend from Climpson and Son, is served in eclectic vintage coffee cups. It is spot on, smooth and almost chocolatey in taste. It’s the kind of coffee I have to have 2 cups in succession. Being a bit punk rock, they also serve booze, for a bit of late night relaxation.
This is my last #coffeemonday for a few weeks, whilst I am in America, so enjoy it and keep the suggestions coming.

What an interesting idea, thanks a lot for sharing.
