Sadler’s Wells is presenting a two week dance festival called Sadler’s Sampled, with the slogan ‘Free Your Mind’ as this years theme.
The UK’s leading dance house, Sadler’s Wells, is hosting the event and is giving the festival goer’s the chance to experience dance in a whole new and interactive way. The tickets start at just £8 and let you try out a variety of dance styles, as well as watch showcases from some of the leading dance productions, such as a contemporary dance from ‘Rosas’, hip-hop, ballet, and tango from ‘Sampled’, and Hofesh Schechter’s production ‘Political Mother: The Choreographer’s Cut.’
The festival will also feature talks, classes, and films as well. Highlighted events from the festival include an interactive art instillation by Sophia Clist, screenings of award-winning short films from ‘idill’, the international dance online short-film festival, and dance classes in the styles of tango, break-dancing and more.
The two week dance festival is a great way to experience dance in an interactive and new way. The festival lasts from 22 June until 7 July. Tickets start at £8 at and can be bought here.
