Those 90 minutes of yoga each week may be doing wonders for your body, but what about your mind? Aside from physically taking you away from the stresses of the office, and the pile of washing at home, how much of that weekly session is spent in mindful meditation, enhancing your wellbeing and reducing anxiety?

Yoga for the Mind

The wonderful people over at The Schoot of Life, a cultural enterprise offering programmes, services and a space for exploration in how to live wisely and well, have teamed up with Sivananda qualified yoga instructor, Veena Ugargol to bring you a course of weekly sessions designed to help you lower stresses and enhance your health and wellbeing.

Combining meditation techniques, breathing and yogic movement exercises in a therapeutic way, you’ll learn simple techniques that will enable you to enhance concentration and focus, expand psychological tolerance of feelings that make you feel uneasy, whilst helping you to develop a resilience and ability to adapt.

Yoga Therapy for the Mind, 11 am – 1.15 pm Sunday 23rd June to Sunday 11th August, £270 at The School of Life, 70 Marchmont Street, London, WC1N 1AB
