Hovis: It’s Simple!

Okay we're not quite here yet but we're getting there!

The average British woman will devour 1,092 unhealthy snacks this year, from crisps, sweets and biscuits to cakes and chocolate, according to research released this month by Hovis Wholemeal.

We recently took part in the Hovis Wholemeal challenge and unfortunately we can definitely count ourselves as one of them… But no longer! Since taking part in the Hovis challenge we’ve definitely been snacking less (or not at all!) and we can happily say that we’re not the carb-haters we once were.

It's simple and it works.

Best lesson learnt? Eat a healthy breakfast! We all know it’s important and yet few of us take the time to do it. Thankfully something as simple as a slice of Hovis Wholemeal toast is enough to keep us full all morning and it’s healthy to boot. We weren’t the only ones to think so…

50 bloggers also conducted the challenge and 90% of us snacked more in week one than in the week we were trying out the recipes and 56% of us didn’t even think about snacking between breakfast and lunch!

So, why not try taking the Hovis challenge for a week? It doesn’t take much effort and you may be surprised with the results.
