Firefly Tonics

by John Gregory-Smith

Firefly Tonics have just launched their brand new Step Up drink with the sole aim of raising £30,000 for Oxford Children’s Hospital. The tangerine and lime flavoured drink is a blend of fruit juices packed full of powerful botanical extracts like Green Tea and Kola for a natural lift. And with no sugar or artificial ingredients, Step Up continues Firefly’s reputation as the most healthy and uplifting of soft drinks.

Firefly is committed to continuing to bring artwork to the lives of children in hospital by donating 10p from every bottle of Step Up to the Children’s Hospital. The first project to benefit will transform the blank and sterile walls connecting the children’s wards with the operating theatres. This amazing initiative doesn’t currently qualify for NHS funding and so Firefly is aiming to raise £30,000 to ensure this vital project CAN happen. They are aiming to improve the quality of life for children in hospital by giving them access to the best medical equipment and the opportunity to have more fun and be creative.

Oxford Children’s Hospital is very close to the heart of Firefly Tonics, as founder Marcus Waley-Cohen’s brother Tom spent many months in the Children’s Ward at the Oxford Radcliffe Hospital.  The Waley-Cohen family have already raised over £1m to name a ward in Tom’s memory.
