Meet with Father Christmas...

Apparently Father Christmas is on holiday just to the south of London.  LaplandUK, the magical recreation of Father Christmas’ North Pole village, opens Saturday (04.12.10).

Make your way down to Kent for the ultimate Father Christmas visit.  Each guest to Father Christmas’ village gets the opportunity to decorate gingerbread in Mother Christmas’ kitchen, go ice skating, meet husky dogs, see reindeer, send a postcard from the North Pole Post Office and work with elves in the toy factory to make the world famous Pelham Puppets.

and meet his reindeer as well!

To top off the experience, each child will get a personalised visit with Father Christmas who magically knows if they’ve been naughty or nice (parents provide Father Christmas with all the information he needs via LaplandUK’s website).  The kids will also receive a very special gift—a LaplandUk collectable husky puppy soft toy, this year named Joki (which means River in Finnish).

Families will be able to purchase a range of quality warming snacks and meals as well as hot and cold drinks in the Nordic restaurant on site.  Warm mulled wine will be available for adults to purchase too.

Ticket prices range from £44.50 to £62.50 and include everything mentioned.  Bookings must be made in advance though.  LaplandUK will be open from 4th-24th December.
