The East London Steak Co. is a new delivery service that prides itself on wonderful cuts of beef and the highest regards for provenance.

All the beef is sourced from the best British farms and each animal is handpicked using strict criteria, which ensures all the cattle are grass fed, have been traditionally farmed and reared in an environment that meets the highest standards of welfare. The beef is then dry-aged, on the bone, for a minimum of 28 days or longer on request.

The East London Steak Co, launched by Chef Richard Turner and butcher James George, delivers within the M25. The bespoke service cuts each steak to the customers’ exact specification and is then hand wrapped and delivered within 24 hours. Every order has an accompanying provenance card, outlining the breed, the exact farm location and the butcher who cut it.

I was sent a delicious rib eye steak on the bone, which was from Abbotts Close Farm in Sutton. The quality of the meat was unbelievable and there was simply no comparison to anything you could find on a supermarket shelf. I griddled my steak with salt and pepper and ate it with a green salad and home made béarnaise. It was amazing; the marbled meat was so tender, juicy and full of flavor. With produce of this quality you don’t need to do anything to it.

This is a great new concept so Londoners, get stuck in! They offer a range of different cuts, selection boxes and lovely booze all on their website. I can’t recommend The East London Steak Co. enough!
