For those of you keen on adventure and sight seeing, you’re in luck.

Faberge Big Egg Hunt

The Fabergé Big Egg Hunt is an exhilarating Easter egg hunt that lasts a record 40 days and 40 nights, taking hunters on a journey to prolific London locations. The event begins on Shrove Tuesday (21 Feb.) and ends Easter Day, Sunday, 8 April.

In this interactive Easter experience, participants are encouraged to “scramble the street” and explore London in search of clues to unveil hidden eggs all over the capital.

Each of the 200 eggs is a unique 2 ½ foot fibreglass display of local craftsmanship containing clues, secrets and prizes.

Leading artists both fine and street, fashion houses, designers, architects and jewellers created the eggs. Just a few of the artists include Zandra Rhodes, DVF, Fortnum & Mason, Mary Katranzou, Selfridges and Mulberry. Those are some stylish eggs.

Fabergé is even creating a ‘Crown Jewel’ egg that will contain an exquisite jewelled pendant.

After the hunt is over, the eggs will be auctioned off to benefit Elephant Family and Action for Children, the two charities behind the event. The event aims to raise £1 million for both the charities.
