Britney and Jason Trawick celebrating in Vegas over the weekend

Britney Spears partied until 4am to celebrate her engagement on Friday (16.12.11).

The ‘Hold It Against Me’ singer threw a joint engagement and 40th birthday party for her fiance Jason Trawick at the Chateau club in Las Vegas, spending money on Dom Perignon champagne and a chocolate fountain to adorn the room.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Britney made sure there was plenty of Dom Perignon champagne flowing throughout the bash. She had a couple of glasses herself. She stayed until 4am when she and Jason returned to their 50th floor suite.”

Writing on twitter, Britney said: “Tonight was one of the most magical nights of my life. Such an amazing time with my new fiance and our closest friends and family. Blessed. (sic)”

Meanwhile, Neil Lane, the designer responsible for designing the engagement ring Jason gave to Britney has revealed he has been creating the piece of jewellery – which features one main diamond and 90 smaller gems on an eternity band – for some time while she has been touring the world.

He told People: “Jason is a romantic and when I asked him to tell me about Britney and what the ring would represent to them so I could find inspiration, his response was always the same – she is a princess.

“Texts came from all over the world, from Abu Dhabi to Mexico and I don’t know where else.”

Despite the ring being created when he was away, Jason was delighted with the final piece hen he went to pick it up from his store in Los Angeles.

Neil added: “Oh my god he loved it. The guy was so excited and nervous. At the end of the day, even with all the fame, he’s still a normal guy who was about to propose to the woman he loves.”

You might have heard that Britney Spears’ was in London recently shooting her new music video for ‘Criminal’. Well, if not, she was and we’ve got our hands on the results of her shoot in Hackney to prove it.

The music video has more of a plot than we’re used to with Brit’s normal style and mainly involves her getting it on with her on and off screen boyfriend Jason Trawick (watch out, there is a LOT of OTT kissing).

Beyoncé confirming her pregnancy during her performance

The Moonmen were out in force again on Saturday night (28.8.11) in celebration of this year’s MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) and we had some big winners including Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Britney Spears… oh and a massive announcement from Beyoncé of course!

Katy Perry took home three awards alone at the ceremony (one for ‘Fireword’ and the other two for ‘E.T.’) where she donned a sickly pink hair colour with candy toned outfit. Britney also looked much better on the red carpet with her partner Jason Trawick. She received an award for Best Pop Video which was presented to her by Lady Gaga as her alternate personality, Jo Calderone.

The biggest news of the night was definitely from ‘1+1’ singer, Beyoncé, who announced her pregnancy during a performance of ‘Love On Top’ as she opened her jacket, rubbed her tummy and said: ‘I want you to feel the love that’s growing inside of me.’

We can wait to see what the spawn of two of the hottest stars in the music industry; Jay Z and Beyoncé.

Lady Gaga to duet with Britney

Britney is back with a vengeance on her new tour (where she’s supported by Nicki Minaj) and it looks like even Lady Gaga has noticed!

She has been nominated for 2011 MTV Video Music Awards Best Pop Video and Best Choreography for Till the World Ends and apparently for an hour straight the popstar sat backstage with Gaga at her show (where Gaga was watching in NYC) gossiping and chatting about a potential collaboration.

The two began to talk together about a duet and rumours are that Lady Gaga even has some ideas of which songs she wants the Brit to feature in.

Would you listen to a track done by these two? I’m pretty sure we DEFINITELY would!

Tamara Beckwith leaves nothing to the imagination

Last night Tamara Beckwith stepped out to Mike Figgis’ Kate & Other Women exhibit at The Little Black Gallery - but her little black dress didn’t quite fit the classy occasion.  A completely see-through black tank dress revealed her matching black bra and knickers underneath – a typical faux-pas in the fashion world, much like wearing a white bra to a blacklight party...

But Beckwith seemed fully aware of her scandalous outfit; in fact, she looked very pleased with herself. Confidence is the best accessory, but let’s be honest – she’s 41 with children, and Britney Spears wore nearly the same dress to the MTV awards in 2001.

Nicole Richie channels Britney in this Youtube video

Apparently Nicole Richie was really excited about Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale tour date in Los Angeles… so excited, in fact, that she made a video to celebrate the occasion!

In the video on Richie’s YouTube account, she competes in an impromptu dance-off to ‘I’m a Slave 4 U’ and Tweeted about the vid, “In honor of my queen, @BritneySpears – Can’t wait to dance tonight!”

After viewing the highly addictive video a few thousand times, we must say Nicole’s got pretty much every move down – and her bod looks great in those super short-shorts while doing them!

Britney in 'Til The World Ends'

We’ve got a sneaky peak of Britney Spears‘ new video for her single ‘Til The World Ends‘ and it looks like she’s going back to her ‘Slave For You’ roots with slick routines and sweaty dancers…

Rumours are that Britter’s will actually release two videos for the new single according to Just Jared. Quote; “JustJared.com can exclusively reveal that the shoot went so well, there will actually be TWO videos. The director’s cut will have more of an apocalyptic storyline while the choreography cut will have the unabridged version of Britney’s dance moves.”
