We had Reese Witherspoon tying the know with Jim Roth, Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell sharing the vows, Kate Moss and Jamie Hince getting hitched in the country and of course, Wills and Kate.

British Fashion Awards royalty Victoria Beckham, Marc Jacobs and Kate Moss

This year’s British Fashion Awards brought out the best of the best, and we weren’t disappointed by their fashion choices for the night either!

We loved Victoria Beckham’s understated gothic glamour look! Usually she tends to go for something a bit more edgy, but this backless gown is chic and appropriate for such a formal night. And since she won Designer Brand of the Year, VB is definitely giving all those young designers a run for their money.

Obviously, Sarah Burton was the queen of the night. With the royal wedding dress and Savage Beauty exhibition, 2011 was the year of Sarah Burton and Alexander McQueen. And the Outstanding Achievement Award went to the well-deserved designer, Sir Paul Smith.

For the second year in a row, the public voted for the television presenter Alexa Chung who looked quirky as usual but with a slight over tan.

The Model of The Year award went to Stella Tennant, the 40-year-old Mitford-scion, who is known for her Zara campaigns. And surprisingly, Charlotte Dellal for Charlotte Olympia beat out Mulberry in the Accessory Designer category. And just because they're not designers, doesn't mean they can't show out! Model Abbey Clancey donned a studded gown, Colin Firth and his wife Livia, who continued her Green Carpet Challenge in a Henrietta Ludgate gown and beauty model Kelly Brook in a white asymmetric gown.

And for our own category, ‘We don’t know what happened to your wardrobe” Olivia Palermo and Kristen McMenamy are the top winners for the night. Better luck next year!

As far as catwalk shows go, Louis Vuitton’s show for Spring/Summer 2012 earlier in Paris really  does take the biscuit. It was a true masterpiece, and that’s not even considering the actual collection… or Kate Moss ending the show!

The circular runway enclosed a curtained central space which, as the music started, revealed the most divine fairground carousel featuring each of the SS12 adorned models sitting astride each of the carousel’s horses. As the carousel began spinning, each model hopped off and showcased each of the looks.

The collection was sublimely feminine with a pastel palette of dresses, coats, handbags and shoes – some of which had been laser cut to infinite detail. We are literally drolling over our keyboards for the shoe collection which features the pointed, metallic toe coming back into fashion. These, along with the colours, baby-doll cuts, high chignons and sweeping false lashes hint to a 60s v.s. new Millenium feel with metallics contrasting against super soft lines and makeup.

We absolutely loved the show (which you can see a video of below) and wonder whether this will indeed be Marc Jacobs’ sign off as Louis Vuitton designer before his rumoured moved to Dior….

The famous photographer, the late Corrine Day, is set to have some of her most iconic work displayed in a special exhibition from September.

The exhibition will be held at the Gimpel Fils Gallery in London and will showcase some of her work, including her early shots of Kate Moss, Rosemary Ferguson and George Clements to name a few. It’s set to look back on her work for the iconic magazine The Face and will be curated by Day’s husband, Mark Szaszy, her long-standing agent, Susie Babchick and Alice Corriea.

Day died last August from complications with a brain tumour at just 45-years-old so it’s great to see such an incredible talent being revisited.

The exhibition runs from 1^st Septmeber to 1^st October 2011.

Terry Richardson’s been exposing intimate celebrity photos again (last time he was the first to photograph Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux together as a couple) and this time it’s for the just-married, rock ‘n’ roll couple; Jamie Hince and Kate Moss.

The couple got married last Friday (1.7.11) in Gloucestershire and they both looked fab. Kate wore a Galliano gown and Jamie wore a rather dashing powder blue YSL suit…

We’re not sure when this photo was taken but Terry uploaded it the day after the wedding (2.7.11) commenting: “Congratulations Kate Moss and Jamie Hince… Just Married!!!”

…let’s just hope he wasn’t there for the consummation.

Kate Moss wearing her engagement ring in February

Kate Moss lost her £14,000 engagement ring while partying at the Glastonbury Festival.

The supermodel – who was watching fiance Jamie Hince perform with his band The Kills at the music event in Somerset, South West England – was said to be “hyperventilating” after realising she had mislaid the ring in the mud.

An insider explained: “Everyone was looking for the ring, with Kate practically hyperventilating at the side of the stage. She was screeching at her mates, begging them to get down on their hands and knees , and trawl through the mud for the sparkler.

“Even Kate was half-heartedly flicking mud around with her welly, trying to unearth the ring.”

However, much to her amusement, Kate – who is due to tie the knot with Jamie this Friday (01.07.11) in Oxfordshire, South East England – eventually found the found the ring stuck in the bottom of her handbag amongst some tissue.

The source added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Two hours later, and still crying, she went to the loo only to root through her bag for a tissue and magically find the ring. It had been there the whole time.

“Kate was cackling hysterically but no one else found it quite so funny.”

The couple are reportedly planning “festival-style” nuptials, with rumoured performances from the likes of Snoop Dogg and Gossip frontwoman Beth Ditto.

Once again Selfridges’ Ultralounge will be transformed into the Oxfam Curiosity Shop on April 1st selling thousands of celebrity, vintage and designer pieces with all proceeds going to Oxfam.

Shoppers will be able to browse celebrity fashion donations from Oxfam supporters, including Scarlett Johansson, Colin and Livia Firth, Beverley Knight, Emma Thompson, Holly Willoughby, Florence Welch, Kate Moss, Dido and Sarah Harding.

Sought-after samples and stock from luxury clothing and accessories brands will be available as well and the very best of the vintage clothing donated by the public to Oxfam, handpicked from its 700 UK shops and boutiques.

Global ambassador for Oxfam Scarlett Johansson says of her involvement with the charity: “In India and Sri Lanka, I’ve visited projects that are helping poor people find their own solutions to poverty. So, I’m delighted to be able to donate this beautiful Dolce and Gabbana dress that I wore to the opening night of my Broadway play, A View From The Bridge.”

All the money raised at Selfridges during this event in April will go to fund Oxfam’s women’s projects across the world from Bangladesh and Sri Lanka to Democratic Republic of Congo, West Africa and South Africa. These projects protect, support and empower vulnerable women: campaigning against violence, empowering them to fight HIV and AIDS and offering the poorest girls the chance of education.

Designer Bio…

Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Amber Valetta and Carolyn Murphy all in the same show. Marc Jacobs pulled out all the stops to close up Paris Fashion Week.

Marc Jacobs newest creations for Louis Vuitton gives buyers a plenty of variety for the bedroom. Everything from french maids and bondage to little girls playing playing grown-up games and blindfolds made appearances on the Louis Vuitton runway. A few models had their hands bound behind their backs with cuff hand bags while others sported style of bindings around the waist reminiscent of S&M.

Appointed in 1997 to creative director of the Louis Vuitton fashion house, Jacobs has worked in conjunction with American artists Prince and Kanye West as well as the likes of Stephen Sprouse and Takashi Murakami. Recognized as one of the most counterfeited brands in the world due the the LV symbol as a sign of status and we can certainly see why as the label currently employs fashion’s own Mr. Moneybags.

It all started with a blouse. In 1962 Jean Bousquet founded Cacharel, which is named after a bird from Camarque in southern France. He is known for his unique styling, and for that one specific pink blouse he nicknamed ‘The Cacharel.’ His collections show a very feminine, youthful, light-hearted style with the use of bright colours and exquisite shapes. That one blouse launched his career when ELLE magazine put it on the front cover in 1963.  Cacharel not only designs clothes, but has a very successful perfume line with models like Kate Moss and Gisela Bündchen.

His collection at Paris Fashion Week had us feeling very girly. There were beautiful floral prints and shapes that flowed gracefully on the models as they walked the runway.
