bareMinerals are calling their Complexion Rescue a Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream. It is one of those all singing, all dancing, multi-tasking creams that is the best of a BB cream and a CC cream and a tinted moisturiser. They are calling it a whole new way to think about make up. It is all in the one tube. It is super hydrating and even seems to be skin-plumping and give great colour coverage.
The gel cream feels rich without being intense. It goes on like a cashmere blanket. It gives coverage that is sheer if you want it to be or with more application it can look more defined. What it does give is smoothness, an all over even tone, and a really intense dose of radiance, as if you are glowing from within.
I like the way you can layer it to go from an almost bare faced with an even skin tone to medium coverage and you still have its signature dewiness. It feels nice on the skin and there are 10 shades to choose from. I went for Buttercream, which has a golden touch to it as I was optimistic for the summer.
It sits on the skin so nicely; eye shadow and blush blend into it beautifully and you feel hydrated all day.
