Of course Charlotte Tilbury‘s recent collaboration with Norman Parkinson has us all excited after months of anticipation; but there has also been an extra addition to her sculpting range. There will be a new shade added to the extremely popular original Bronze & Glow palette, £49 – in Medium Dark. So here’s a look at the brand new Charlotte Tilbury powder duo:
In keeping with their signature sleek, 20’s style rose-gold cigarette box packaging, this duo contains the same super-fine powder formulation using Light Flex Technology to capture light and radiate it out; using deeper, warmer shades for a luminous complexion.
They have put together this new shading and highlighting palette colours, to enable tanned/darker skin tones as well as fairer complexions to enhance features to their best. Especially if the original Bronze & Glow was slightly too fair for your skin tone – this is the perfect shade. Think honey bronzed hues, summer golden vibes, sunkissed glow. Lovely lovely.
The bronzer is a universal blend of pearl and pigment to add shape and catch the natural light, adding curvature and definition to your features. The highlighter features a golden base that is suitable for a range of skin tones.. It has a warmth to it also – so I’d say for fairer skin tones it would suffice a subtle blush blended into the bronzer.
This Bronze & Glow Powder teamed up with it’s perfect partner – the Powder & Sculpt brush £35, makes it effortless to get those killer cheekbones and nail those contouring skills you always fancied.
I had a little play with our lovely Maddie today – using the marvelous Powder & Sculpt brush (if you don’t have it already – get one in your life). The tapered end just slots perfectly under your cheekbones to give the perfect contour. I blended the bronzer into Maddies temples, under the cheekbone, and under the jawline to create definition. Literally dipped the tip of the brush into the highlight and placed it on her brow bone, the tops of her cheek bones, down the centre of her nose, on her cupid’s bow, and a little dusting on her chin and we’re done!
