Why Vitamin C? Here is our selection of Best Vitamin C Beauty Products.

MURAD

Intensive-C Radiance Peel (£49.50). Dr Murad’s next-generation Vitamin C range contains a unique combination of Vitamin C and Glycolic Acid which both work to promote collagen production in different ways, thereby optimising skin plumping. The peel is like an at-home facial, simply massage on evenly over a clean face, neck and chest. It can feel a little tingly – which just feels like it is doing its job! You can leave this on for 10 mins and rinse off for a great treatment.

Intensive-C Day Moisture (£49.50). This powerful, antioxidant-rich daily moisturiser cream helps prevent sun damage with its extra SPF protection, and tackles environmental damage of course. This lovely moisturiser infused with Vitamin C is an easy addition to your skincare; and improves skins elasticity, hydration and clarity.

GOLDFADEN MD

Goldfaden MD Pure Start Cleanser (£32, exclusive to Space NK) is a multi-tasking, ph-balanced cleanser; to dissolve and remove dead skin cells and makeup all in one go. It contains high levels of Vitamin C to help revive tired looking or dull skin, along with Grapefruit extracts to detoxify the skin too. After using a good few pumps on wet skin, this fresh-scented cleanser bubbles up a little and once washed off you do feel like you’ve had a thorough cleanse! It leaves you with a clear, smooth and healthy balanced face afterwards, and is suitable for all skin types.

PERRICONE MD

Perricone MD

Perricone MD Vitamin C Ester Serum (£79.50) is a daytime serum to specifically target your whole face, even around your eyes and lips, to boost your radiance and give a brighter complexion. This one is formulated with Vitamin C Ester; which has been referred to as the ‘better Vitamin C’, because it was alleged that it was better absorbed by the body, and better tolerated. I have been using this one every day for a few weeks now and I adore the citrusy smell, and the way it soaks into the skin once massaged in. It is a liquidy consistency and super soft to rub in and I can see the difference it has made.

HYLAMIDE

The Hylamide C25 Stabilised Vitamin C Booster Serum (£30) is a skincare addition that you can pop into your current regime to beat any dullness, uneven skintone and fine lines. This clear liquid is lovely lovely stuff, and contains stable Vitamin C – which means it will not lose its effectiveness after opening (which can be a problem with Vitamin C infused products). This high strength serum is a great affordable product and almost feels like an oil-consistency but it is light, and sinks in leaving a soft texture. This one can be applied up to twice a day for a brightened tone.

SOAP & GLORY

Face Soap and Clarity Vitamin C Facial Wash (£8) is a 3-in-1 wash to be used daily, with a lovely concoction of vitamins, amino acids, and Soap & Glory’s exclusive Superfruit Yuzu Complex. Apart from looking pretty lovely with its soft pink scrub-beads floating in the bluey-green gel, it cleans and purifies the skin whilst gently exfoliating too. This is a perfect affordable option, but giving great results at the same time.

PHILOSOPHY

Philosophy Turbo Booster C Powder (£28). This clever little pot of Vitamin C powder – yes powder – can be used alone or mixed with your favourite water-based moisturiser or serum to help brighten skin tone and protect skin against those pesky environmental damages that we keep going on about. Philosophy have tackled the problem of the product losing effectiveness with this clever powder form.

MARY KAY

Timewise Replenishing Serum-C (£41) helps gives skin its definition and fullness, so skin appears lifted and firmed. The bonus is that it is suitable for all skin types. You may be wondering why this little product comes in four different vials? This helps to maintain its freshness and effectiveness. Once opened, the last for a week. This allows you to actually be able to give your skin a little Vitamin C boost once in a while – if you don’t wish to apply daily; as your product will stay unopened and fresh. So whenever your skin need a little boost, this is a perfect product.
