The international celebrity has made such success at in her modelling career that she has led to roles in television and film, working as a spokesperson; and now shes having a shot at producing.. Cindy is now working with NBC to develop Icon, telling the tale of the competitive nature of the modelling industry during the 80’s, while she was fully immersed in the modelling scene. And if there’s anyone that knows – it’s Cindy Crawford. The big hair, shoulder pads, posing with exotic animals, the cut-throat nature, the whole lot. So the fact that Cindy is the brains behind the operation, means it’s bound to be spot on. Supermodel wars, bring it on!

Screen Shot 2015-07-30 at 15.26.25Although fictionalised and not a complete ‘re-telling’ of Crawford’s own experiences; the show it set to delve us into and expose the nature of the industry and what it was like to be in the modelling world during this time.

This will be Cindy’s first go at the whole television producing-gig and it has been confirmed that unfortunately, she will not be making any guest appearances in the series, but we still cant wait for this one.

Icon, written by Robin Bissell of The Hunger Games. Ironically, also another quite suitable name for it…
