The liner game is strong for Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. We spotted yesterday’s Armani Privé Paris Collection where mauve, violet and lavender set the tone for garment colour paired with neutral-toned makeup; but it was all about the texture – with strong lines and statement waves.
Again, the eyeliner is making a strong presence with its displaced application along the crease line.

GET THE LINER LOOK
Felt-tip nibbed liners are a good choice if you want to try this ultra-couture makeup look out. They tend to dry super fast on the skin which is ideal, so you won’t need to walk about with your eyes closed forever waiting for your liquid to dry! They are easy to use, simply run the tip along your crease with a slight curve to follow the natural shape of your eye.
Try out one (or some) of these felt-tip liquid liners which have made their way into our makeup bags, for their durability, ease of application and great colour.

HOW TO
Oh why not, let’s throw a little tutorial in there too. Here’s a quick way of drawing on your couture liner. I lightly ‘sketched out’ where I wanted to put my line first, simply following my eye curve. And then bolded it out after – using the MAC Penultimate Eyeliner. Don’t be afraid to use your trusty cotton bud if you make any mistakes and just re-draw any sections!
