Shailene Woodley has made her mark on the big screen within the past few years and is showing no signs of slowing down. The 22-year-old actress started her career on TV starring in the ABC Family series The Secret Life of The American Teenager. Woodley made her film depute in the award winning adaptation of The Descendants playing the role of Alexandra King alongside George Clooney. Previously this year, Shailene worked together with actor Theo James to release Divergent, where Woodley played Tris, a girl fighting against a dystopian society. Shailene’s latest project is the adaptation of John Green’s New York Times Best Selling novel The Fault In Our Stars where she plays the witty Hazel Grace Lancaster.
Unlike many young celebrities, Shailene is a minimalist and the ultimate down-to-earth star in film. She gets her own water from mountain springs and goes to a farm for her groceries. Besides making her own beauty products and toothpaste, Shailene also does not own a cell phone and carries a mason jar around with her everywhere. An actress, humanitarian and au natural starlet preferring not to wear makeup day-to-day, there is no place Shailene Woodley can’t go.
