PFW AW16 HAS BEGUN! - Beauty And The Dirt

We’ve made it to the last leg of the AW16 shows, and Paris Fashion Week has gotten off to a glittering start. Literally. For Antony Vaccarello’s show, makeup artist Tom Pecheux took winged eyeliner to a whole new level last night; and Pat McGrath is going all-out for today’s Maison Margela faces. Take a look here..

wsd — The designer explored corset shapes and detailing – on the bottom of dresses, down the front of skirts and securing the front of the tailored jackets. Leather was a strong feature in the collection, cutting it into fitted jackets and mini skirts and trousers. Big, voluminous jackets draped over the models in bomber jacket style shapes.

Each x Other

rust coloured eyeshadow — Each x Other properly embraced in the wet caught-in-the-rain hair in Paris, similar to McQueen & AF Vandervorst shows in London. It seems to be catching on… However, we are obsessing over the rust eyeshadows on the models’ eyes, mirrored in the collection’s colour palette.

Maison Margiela

Kicking off just this morning, we are sure it woke everyone up in the room. It’s sure a feast on the eyes.. Turquoise boots, iridescent veils, jewelled bomber jackets; Maison Margela went all – out for his Aw16 collection… In terms of beauty we’ve spotted dark lips, nude lips with dark liner, coloured edgy haircuts. We can’t wait to see the closeups…
