Uniqlo is famed for it’s on the mark designer collaborations, and their next one has proved to be no exception. Following their recent collaboration with renowned former Chanel muse turned author Ines de la Fressange (read about her line here), the high street brand have turned the tables and singled out RnB megastar Pharrell Williams.
Pharrell already has his own ‘i am Other’ initiative, which is currently comprised of music pieces and art installations. The new Uniqlo will fall in line with ‘i am Other’ and feature a line of tees and baseball caps. Pharrell will also become a spokesperson for the Japanese brand, and feature in the ad posters and TV ads for his line.
The Pharrell Williams flavour will storm through Uniqlo stores across the world this April as part of their SS14 collection. We’re smiling about this. Because we’re happy. (Geddit?!)
