By Rosie Bettis

The British Library is celebrating the 150 years of the publication of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland! The exhibition is on from the 20th Nov 2015 – 17th April 2016, and explores how Alice has managed to capture the world’s imagination for so many years.
The exhibition showcases Lewis Carroll’s original manuscript and hand-drawn original illustrations, as well as features from Mervyn Peake, Ralph Steadman, Leonard Weisgard and others. Despite the story going through a number of adaptions and re-imagined, re-illustated versions, somehow we are still enchanted by the original story which continues to inspire writers and illustrators to this day.
Happy Birthday Alice!
