British actress Bel Powley has been praised for her breakthrough role in The Diary Of A Teenage Girl, and has been shortlisted for the BAFTA 2016 Rising Star award, which gives a little recognition to up-and-coming artists in the film industry.
The young actress plays audacious teen Minnie in the thought-provoking and beautifully made 70’s set film; starring alongside (one of our favourite ladies) Kristen Wiig and True Blood’s hunk Alexander Skarsgard.
